Pre-hire requirements for all direct care positions:

• Age 21 and over for driving positions
• Age 18 and over for non-driving positions
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Acceptable driving record with current Arizona Driver's License

As Part of the application process:

• Substance abuse and T.B. testing
• Fingerprint clearance
• Reference/Background check

Paid State & Agency required training includes:

• CPR/First Aide
• Consumer Intervention Techniques (C.I.T.)
• Article 9 - the Law and Consumer Rights
• Med/IR - Medication and Reporting
• Programatic Monitoring
• Skill Bulding
• Introduction to Developmental Disabilities
• Transportation
